At Care In Kent we understand how incredibly difficult it is when a loved one is nearing the end of their life. We aim to ease that stress and heartache as best as we can by providing excellent end of life care to our clients that encompasses the management of pain and physical symptoms, alongside providing psychological, emotional and spiritual support.
Our dedicated team also offers their utmost support and understanding to our clients’ family and friends, doing our best to ensure that everyone is listened to and kept informed.
We work closely with our clients and their loved ones to make sure that everyone’s wishes are observed and implemented to the very best of our ability, whilst working closely with GPs and other services to ensure that medical care is properly managed throughout.
At Care In Kent we don’t take a ‘one size fits all’ approach; we understand that end of life care needs to be tailored to the individual, and our professional dedicated staff do this with compassion and dignity.
This important part of palliative care involves talking to the patient and families about what to expect towards the end of their life, to discuss their needs and wishes to ensure they receive the kind of care they want, and can even help with the practicalities of things like making a will or getting financial support.
We aim to break down the taboos associated with end of life care, and talk openly about what our clients want in order to give them as much control and say as possible over the care that they receive.
